Modern technological educational solutions offer time - & place - independent learning & practice opportunities. VR can provide participants with holistic experience of real-world environments.
More opportunities to practice & receive feedback on presentations are fundamental aspects for the development of public speaking skills.
Oral presentation training using VR improves eye contact & reduces pauses of anxious students. The use of virtual humans in VR has shown to reduce the stress & fear of negative evaluation.
Creating more opportunities to practice & receive the needed feedback through human assistance is neither feasible nor affordable. VR provides a realistic & cheaper option.
Arranging in-person presentations require time-consuming logistics and planning. The use of VR provides a more efficient, and realistic alternative to conduct presentations.
The VR application used provides its users with a clean interface, aiding users to navigate the application and start presentations with ease.
Studies on the use of VR for enhancing training effectiveness are rare, and the study on its effects remain to be a vast area for further exploration and analysis.
